The shop

Compton Cycles was established in 1975 and has been helping Londoners go places ever since.

We stock a huge range of bikes including road, electric, Dutch, mountain, Kids and folding bikes. We are also a Brompton Premium store and we have a large range of Brompton bikes, accessories and spares as well a range of demo bikes for you to try .

At Compton's we cater to all users and styles of urban riding and beyond and pride ourselves on providing a first class and friendly service for all our customers. Our team of keen cyclists and experienced professional mechanics have over 50 years experience in the cycle trade.

We provide an expert and efficient repair service for all makes and designs of bike and are happy to provide friendly unbiased advice if you are looking for a new steed!

Test rides

In order for you to make a considered decision when purchasing a new bike, we would encourage you to drop by the shop and take a test ride – we're just around the corner from National Cycle Network route 21 so there's no need to test ride on busy A roads! We can provide you with any safety equipment you require or feel free to bring your own. We would require a driver's licence/ debit card for a test ride.
